Where's Your Health

Get it back!

Surfactants

Don't Take My Word For It, Ask My Colon.

Actually my colon can't talk, but if he could (I'm calling it a 'he' because I am) he'd tell you he feels like a new man, because I do too!
How? You might be thinking, or asking out loud. Well, it's because of a new organic product I've been taking for the last month and a half. It's called: In-liven Probiotic Super-Food and it's certified organic. It's what they call a nutrient saturation formula.
If you've ever taken an anti-biotic in your life, than you have successfully killed off all of the bacteria in your entire digestive tract, including the good bacteria.
Now, at the risk of bogging down in boring terminology that I hardly understand myself, I'll try to cut to the chase scene.

In-Liven is the product of over twenty-years of research and development. The 13 strains of lactobacillus bacteria (inside In-Liven) are produced from fruits and veggies and are not genetically engineered. It contains significant enzymes, vital amino acids and a broad spectrum of essential nutrients, including 26 carefully selected living whole foods from 100% organic sources rich in phyto-nutrients. These are what help re-colonise the intestinal flora, restoring proper balance. It eliminates "unfriendly" bacteria and counteracts medical and food-chain anti-biotic damage. It also greatly enhances the immune function, in other words, it puts the lead back in your pencil baby!

If you've tried the others before, give this stuff a shot and I'm sure you'll agree.

Almost 100-years ago, Russian born, Ilya Mechnikov, bacteriologist, and 1908 Nobel Laureate stated: "Death begins in the colon." He was the one that coined the term, "Pro-biotic" to describe friendly bacteria. He documented lengthy life-spans of several societies that practiced eating fermented foods and special bacterial cultures called kefirs. It is now common knowledge that up to 90% of all known human illness can be traced back to an unhealthy colon!

This In-Liven product is fairly expensive at a retail cost of about $60.00, but all you need is a teaspoon of the powder once a day. It's cheaper than a $1500.00 a day hospital stay, or chemo treatments. I take it in the morning and mix it with a little spring water. It looks like a dark green mixture of pond-water, and it isn't the greatest tasting stuff, but that's why I like it so much. It's not candy coated and pretending to be a milkshake. You can order it straight from Australia, and the sight has over 50 different organic skin-care and cosmetic products as well.

There is much more info on the site about this and many other products too.
Thanks for listening to my colon!

Should You put Baby Shampoo on your Baby?

The Ingredient list on the back of Johnson&Johnson's Baby shampoo.
Is it just me or is it insane that on the back of the bottle it reads:
"Keep out of reach of young children"

Where is the FDA in all of this? This is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg. On the back of a can of room air-freshener it states: Breathing of ingredients can be harmful or fatal.
Now they have wall units that dispense this poison throughout every room in your home. They are required to state warnings of possible death by breathing the product in, but its advertised purpose is to freshen the air in your living environment.

Ingredients in this product are linked to:

Developmental/reproductive toxicity
Violations, Restrictions & Warnings
Allergies/immunotoxicity
Other concerns for ingredients used in this product:
Neurotoxicity, Organ system toxicity (non-reproductive), Miscellaneous, Irritation (skin, eyes, or lungs), Enhanced skin absorption, Contamination concerns

This manufacturer:
Compact for Safe Cosmetics signer

Public AWARE-ness

The Neocheaters

What are they up to?

Career politicians by their very nature stand for nothing more than their own political futures. As soon as they attain the office of their desire, they begin the process of campaigning for reelection.
Essentially they are being funded by taxpayer money to attain the future of THEIR dreams, certainly not ours. If Elliot Spitzer had not been caught, then he'd still be pursuing his hobbies while in the office of his dreams.

If not for force backed taxation, do you think that any American in his or her right mind would continue to pay taxes? I doubt it. People are used to paying for services or products that they desire. Are you happy with the level of service your state, local, and federal government are giving you?
The CID, or criminal investigation division within the IRS, enforces the collection of federal income taxes. They carry guns and have every right to enter your home and confiscate your property and sell off your assets for failure to pay your taxes. They will attach loan-shark interest rates that may take the rest of your life to pay back.

The taxes are used to pay politicians and fund government programs and agencies. In recent decades there has not been one government funded research group that has ever come up with a cure for any disease. They are in the business of securing grants that keep their directors comfortably employed for years. It's a little like sitting in front of a wall-safe spinning the numbers hoping for the combination to eventually be stumbled upon.

The politicians create multiple illusions that keep the masses believing in their need to be where they are. They are a burden on advancing technology through the creation of regulatory agencies. They use an endless string of non-sequiturs like: "for the good of mankind" " for god and country" "to better our society". Do they really make this country/world a better place? I would be happy to stop paying for their service. I'd be happy to find something else to do with my "tax" money, like save it for my retirement.
The president talks of his economic stimulus package like it's the best thing since sliced bread. Isn't that like a bully taking your candy-bar, then breaking off a tiny pea-sized piece and handing it back to you? We're supposed to be happy about getting back a miniscule portion of what's already been taken from us?

How about no taxes and all you politicians going to work for a living, creating some value or service that someone might really want to pay for instead of taking it from us by force.
Democrats and republicans are two fingers attached to the same hand. The political system is a flawed system filled with mysticism and illusion. It is nothing but bad theater that we are forced to pay for. The Wizard of Oz told more truth about what goes on in Washington, they don't want us to pay attention to that "little man behind the curtain."

I'm getting tired of paying into a bottomless pit of leaches and parasites draining the life out of their own country. This is not what the founding fathers had in mind.

"Our fellow citizens have been led hoodwinked from their principles by a most extraordinary combination of circumstances. But the band is removed, and they now see for themselves." --Thomas Jefferson to John Dickinson, 1801. ME 10:217
"Whenever our affairs go obviously wrong, the good sense of the people will interpose and set them to rights." --Thomas Jefferson to David Humphreys, 1789. ME 7:322

There is no time like the present.

The Deadly Dozen

Beauty is only skin deep, but the products we use to attain it contain chemicals that may penetrate far deeper. The average adult uses nine personal care products a day, with roughly 120 chemicals spread among them, many of which are incompletely tested for toxicity.

Below are 12 chemicals that are best avoided. A single exposure to any of them is unlikely to cause harm, but daily exposure will add up. When shopping, be prepared to spend some time reading labels; even brands that advertise themselves as "natural" or "botanical" are known to include some of these.

1. Antibacterials
Overuse of antibacterials can prevent them from effectively fighting disease-causing germs like E. coli and Salmonella enterica. Triclosan, widely used in soaps, toothpastes and deodorants, has been detected in breast milk, and one recent study found that it interferes with testosterone activity in cells. Numerous studies have found that washing with regular soap and warm water is just as effective at killing germs.

2. Coal Tar
Coal tar is a known human carcinogen used as an active ingredient in dandruff shampoos and anti-itch creams. Coal-tar-based dyes such as FD&C Blue 1, used in toothpastes, and FD&C Green 3, used in mouthwash, have been found to be carcinogenic in animal studies when injected under skin.

3. Diethanolamine (DEA)
DEA is a possible hormone disruptor, has shown limited evidence of carcinogenicity and depletes the body of choline needed for fetal brain development. DEA can also show up as a contaminant in products containing related chemicals, such as cocamide DEA.

4. 1,4-Dioxane
1,4-Dioxane is a known animal carcinogen and a possible human carcinogen that can appear as a contaminant in products containing sodium laureth sulfate and ingredients that include the terms "PEG," "-xynol," "ceteareth," "oleth" and most other ethoxylated "eth" ingredients. The FDA monitors products for the contaminant but has not yet recommended an exposure limit. Manufacturers can remove dioxane through a process called vacuum stripping, but a small amount usually remains. A 2007 survey by the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics found that most children's bath products contain 10 parts per million or less, but an earlier 2001 survey by the FDA found levels in excess of 85 parts per million.

5. Formaldehyde
Formaldehyde has a long list of adverse health effects, including immune-system toxicity, respiratory irritation and cancer in humans. Yet it still turns up in baby bath soap, nail polish, eyelash adhesive and hair dyes as a contaminant or break-down product of diazolidinyl urea, imidazolidinyl urea and quaternium compounds.

6. Fragrance
The catchall term "fragrance" may mask phthalates, which act as endocrine disruptors and may cause obesity and reproductive and developmental harm. Avoid phthalates by selecting essential-oil fragrances instead. Remember, there are over 10,000 ingredients the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) does not require listing on products. A lot will fall under the benign word 'fragrance'.

7. Lead and Mercury
Neurotoxic lead may appear in products as a naturally occurring contaminant of hydrated silica, one of the ingredients in toothpaste, and lead acetate is found in some brands of men's hair dye. Brain-damaging mercury, found in the preservative thimerosol, is used in some mascaras.

8. Nanoparticles
Tiny nanoparticles, which may penetrate the skin and damage brain cells, are appearing in an increasing number of cosmetics and sunscreens. Most problematic are zinc oxide and titanium dioxide nanoparticles, used in sunscreens to make them transparent. When possible, look for sunscreens containing particles of these ingredients larger than 100 nanometers. You'll most likely need to call companies to confirm sizes, but a few manufacturers have started advertising their lack of nanoparticle-sized ingredients on labels.

9. Parabens
(methyl-, ethyl-, propyl-, butyl-, isobutyl-) Parabens, which have weak estrogenic effects, are common preservatives that appear in a wide array of toiletries. A study found that butyl paraben damaged sperm formation in the testes of mice, and a relative, sodium methylparaben, is banned in cosmetics by the E.U. Parabens break down in the body into p-hydroxybenzoic acid, which has estrogenic activity in human breast-cancer cell cultures.

10. Petroleum Distillates
Possible human carcinogens, petroleum distillates are prohibited or restricted for use in cosmetics in the E.U. but are found in several U.S. brands of mascara, foot-odor powder and other products. Look out for the terms "petroleum" or "liquid paraffin."

11. P-Phenylenediamine
Commonly found in hair dyes, this chemical can damage the nervous system, cause lung irritation and cause severe allergic reactions. It's also listed as 1,4-Benzenediamine; p-Phenyldiamine and 4-Phenylenediamine.

12. Hydroquinone
Found in skin lighteners and facial moisturizers, hydroquinone is neurotoxic and allergenic, and there's limited evidence that it may cause cancer in lab animals. It may also appear as an impurity not listed on ingredients labels.

People should not forget the Aluminum Chlorohydrate found in anti-persperants, it does just what it says. It does not allow perspiration which is the body's way of purging toxins. The Aluminum leaches into your system and is dangerously close to your lymph glands. Ladies, there have been direct connections here to breast cancer. It makes complete sense if you're applying what is essentially a poison to your body at least once a day, 7 days a week, how can that not take a toll? Men are not immune to breast cancer either.

There are alternatives out there. You know the products you are using, and you use them a lot. Forty-years ago, these ingredients were not as prevalent, and most were not even present in these products. Companies use them to keep manufacturing costs down and shelf life up. Stop putting them on your body. If you can't eat it than it can probably kill you.

Look at your cleaning products as well, they are just as dangerous.
To your health!

Corn on the Cob is a Pesticide?

Genetically engineered foods

Only 40% of people in the U.S. know that some of the foods they are buying and eating are genetically modified (GM), according to a new survey conducted by the International Food Information Council (IFIC), an industry group funded by food, beverage and agricultural industries. Additionally nearly 1 out of 4 people incorrectly believes that such foods are not being sold in the United States.

Currently, the use of genetically modified food is a subject of enormous global controversy. Environmental and consumer groups have demanded that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) follow the lead of the European Union, Japan and other nations by requiring labels on GM foods to allow consumers to know what they are buying. The U.S. government claims that such mandatory food labels are not necessary because genetically modified food 'poses no inherent safety risk'.

Back in 1992 the U.S. Food and Drug Administration determined that genetically engineered (GE) foods are in most cases 'the same as or substantially similar to substances commonly found in food' and thus are not required to undergo specific safety tests prior to entering the market.

The FDA has refused to require labeling of genetically engineered foods, despite overwhelming American support for mandatory labeling. Since the agency has refused to protect consumers, some food companies are now taking action by labeling certain products or ingredients "non-gmo", which means "made without genetically modified organisms".

The U. S. may soon be the only country in the world which does NOT require labeling of genetically engineered food.

Australia, July 2000, passed legislation requiring the labeling of genetically engineeredfoods. The European Union, in September 1998, passed legislation requiring the labeling of genetically engineered foods. Japan passed legislation to require labeling of genetically engineered foods in April 2000, which went into effect in 2001. The Russian government requires labeling of genetically engineered foods as of January 2000. Hong Kong has legislation requiring labeling of genetically engineered foods which was overwhelmingly approved by Legislative Council in January 2000. South Korea has legislation requiring labeling of genetically engineered foods which went into effect in 2001. So does Taiwan.

Genetically modified food in your supermarket?

Most supermarket processed food items now test positive for the presence of genetically modified ingredients. In addition, several dozen more genetically engineered crops are in the final stages of development and will soon be released into the environment and sold in the marketplace. According to the biotechnology industry, the majority of U.S. food and fiber will be genetically engineered within the next 5 to 10 years.

The most widely grown genetically engineered crops, accounting for over 90% of all the genetically engineered crop acreage in North America, are corn, cotton, soy and canola. Potatoes and tomatoes in processed foods may also come from genetically engineered seed.

There are 2 main categories of genetically engineered crops now on the market: "Insect Resistant" and "Herbicide Tolerant".

Herbicide Tolerant crops (which include corn, cotton, soybeans, sugar beet and canola) are crops which are genetically engineered to withstand direct application of herbicides. These herbicides would kill natural crop plants, but farmers are now able to spray weed killers directly onto genetically engineered herbicide-tolerant varieties. This could mean more chemicals onto our food and in our environment. About 70% of genetically engineered crops growing in the United States today are herbicide-tolerant varieties.

Insect Resistant crops (which include corn, cotton and potatoes) are also called 'plant pesticides', because the plant itself is a pesticide. As it grows, the plant produces an insecticide, killing insects when they feed on the crop. Industry claims that these genetically engineered crops will mean that fewer chemical insecticides are sprayed. But scientists have warned that insects will develop resistance in just a few years.

Genetically engineered foods: altering the genetic blueprint of life

The patenting of genetically engineered foods and widespread biotech food production threatens to eliminate farming as it has been practiced for the past 12,000 years.

The technology of genetic engineering, wielded by transnational 'life science' corporations such as Novartis and Monsanto, is the practice of altering the genetic blueprints of living organisms - plants, animals, micro-organisms - patenting them, and then selling the resulting gene-foods, seeds, or other products for profit.
Life science corporations proclaim with great fanfare that their new products will make agriculture sustainable, eliminate world hunger, vastly improve public health and cure disease. In reality, through their political lobbying and business practices, the gene engineers have made it obvious that they intend to use genetic engineering to dominate and monopolize the global market for seeds, foods, fiber and medical products.

Genetic engineering is a revolutionary new technology still in its early experimental stages of development. This technology has the power to break down fundamental genetic barriers - not only between species - but between humans, plants and animals. By randomly inserting together the genes of non-related species - utilizing viruses, antibiotic-resistant genes, and bacteria as vectors, markers, and promoters - and permanently altering their genetic codes, gene-altered organisms are created which then pass these genetic changes onto their offspring through heredity.

Gene engineers all over the world are now snipping, rearranging, recombining, inserting, editing, and programming genetic material. Animal genes and even human genes are randomly inserted into the chromosomes of plants, animals and fish, creating up-to-now unimaginable transgenic life forms. For the first time in history, transnational biotechnology corporations are becoming the architects and 'owners' of life.

What are the potential dangers of genetically modified foods?

Genetically engineered products clearly have the potential to be toxic and a threat to human health. In 1989, a genetically engineered brand of L-tryptophan, a common dietary supplement, killed 37 Americans and permanently disabled or afflicted more than 5,000 others with a painful and potentially fatal blood disorder, eosinophilia myalgia syndrome (EMS), before it was recalled by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The manufacturer, Showa Denko, Japan's 3rd largest chemical company, had for the first time in 1989 used genetically engineered bacteria to produce the over-the-counter supplement. It is believed that the bacteria somehow became contaminated during the recombinant DNA process. Showa Denko has already paid out over $2 billion in damages to EMS victims.

Skin

The Skin's Architecture
The skin has three major layers -- the epidermis, the dermis, and the subcutaneous tissue. The epidermis is the outermost layer of skin. Its main function is to produce the keratin that protects the body against harmful environmental substances and controls water loss. Cells in the epidermis also produce melanin, which gives the skin its color.

The next layer of the skin is the dermis. This layer contains a number of important substances such as collagen and reticulin, which prevent the skin from tearing; elastin, which makes the skin resilient; and jellylike substances that make the skin soft and compressible.

The third layer, subcutaneous tissue, is primarily made up of fat, which provides insulation, shock absorption, and calorie reserves. Both the dermis and the subcutaneous tissue contain sensory and motor nerves.

Among the most common causes of skin disorders are infections, overexposure to sunlight, follicle dysfunction, and hormonal imbalance. Parasites, external substances, cell dysfunction, genetic factors, stress, and aging also cause skin problems.

Did you know that the skin is the body's largest organ? The average sized person has over twenty square feet of skin on their body.
It is an amazingly sensitive yet resilient super sponge. When you shower or swim the skin absorbs the chlorine and any other chemicals present in the water. Your skin is a direct connection to the bloodstream and what you apply to it is taken in to your body. Read the labels of everything you apply to your skin. If you can't pronounce it, you shouldn't be putting it on your body. If you can't eat it, do you think it's a good idea to put it on your skin? Just because a lotion or oil may be expensive doesn't mean it's good for you.

Sunscreen is very damaging to your skin. Mineral oil, baby oil, is a petroleum based oil that is terrible for your skin and health. It clogs and fills the pores of the skin cutting off healthy oxygen to the skin and millions of surface blood vessels. Just because the manufacturer sells it as "all natural" or, "healthy", or even "safe for sensitive skin" read the labels, it's not that difficult. Educate yourselves, knowledge is power, and the FDA is not going to tell you about these things. They are the agencies that approve of the selling of these poisons. They have no idea of the long-term damage being done to your body, but it doesn't take a lot of intelligence to understand that poison isn't good for you.

Your skin is the first line of defense for the rest of your body. If you poison your skin then then the chances of developing other disease over time is greatly increased.
Protect yourself and please read labels. There are many alternatives to everything you use in your home.
Thanks for reading.

Where are we going?

Coming Soon:

United States, Canada, and Mexico

“The North American Union

Imagine a NAFTA superhighway, or trans- Texas corridor, twelve football fields wide running from Mexico straight up through the middle of the U.S.

Better yet, how about no borders between the United States and Mexico, or Canada. And last, imagine a new currency, call it the brother of the Euro, Amero, a new North American Union currency that will supplant our current dollar as we know it today.

Don’t imagine it if it sounds too shocking or impossible, just brace yourself for it because it’s coming.

Most of congress doesn’t know about the plans because only relatively small amounts of money have been spent on studies and those allocations were included in enormous transportation appropriation bills.

This is part of a bigger plan proposed by a quasi-government organization called the ‘Security and Prosperity Partnership’, or SPP’. This group was first launched in 2005 by heads of sate of Canada, Mexico, and the US at a summit in Waco, Texas.

No treaties were involved and Congress was not included in the plans or discussions.

The SPP is a consortium of foreigners and officials from several governments.

One of the major players is a Spanish construction firm which plans to build the highway and operate it as a toll road.

This is not the result of free market demand, but an extension of government managed trade schemes like NAFTA that benefit politically controlled interests.

The real issue here though is national sovereignty.

Once again a monumental plan of action is being initiated that effect millions of Americans, only the decision isn’t being made by those Americans themselves, or even by their elected representatives in Congress. Instead, a handful of elites using their government connections bypass national legislatures and ignore our Constitution. Congress is supposed to regulate international trade, so once again the ineffectiveness of big government is apparent. Only Congress has sole authority to regulate international trade. There, I repeated myself, so why is this happening?

The ultimate goal is not simply a superhighway, but an integrated North American Union, a new currency, cross national beaurocracy, and virtually borderless travel within the union. We’ll complete this with a new flag as well. They call this: a pooling of sovereignty…but isn’t that an oxymoron? It’s the complete abolition of sovereignty.

This is moving forward without Congressional oversight. This and any other administration needs a strong message from Congress, if there’s any backbone left, that Americans will not tolerate these backroom deals that threaten the sovereignty of this country.

Is The Fox Guarding The Henhouse?

About WebMD

WebMD Health Corp. (Nasdaq: WBMD) is the leading provider of health information services, serving consumers, physicians, healthcare professionals, employers and health plans through our public and private online portals and health-focused publications. WebMD is a subsidiary of Emdeon Corporation (Nasdaq: HLTH). The WebMD Health Network reaches approximately 30 million visitors a month through its leading owned and operated health sites that include WebMD Health, Medscape, MedicineNet, eMedicine, eMedicine Health, RxList and theheart.org.

The National Dairy Council's web site states that "American milk and dairy products are among the safest and most highly regulated foods in the world" and that milk from hormone-treated cows has repeatedly been shown to be "safe for human consumption."

A farmer who would like to convert his farm to organic produce only would have to come up with nearly $20,000 dollars for an average size farm which would be smaller than a conventional farm.
The cost comes from regulatory licensing paid to the federal government. Don't you think the Federal government should subsidize farmers who want to grow whole foods? Why do they make it so expensive for farmers to provide Americans with what is clearly a healthier choice? No hormones or pesticides and genetically altered vegetables would find their way onto the shelves of your local supermarkets. And why are conventional farms (users of pesticides, chemicals, genetically altered produce) heavily subsidized by the government, using our tax-dollars? Shouldn't these federal agencies be looking out for us?
The National Dairy Council is comprised of government employees that tell you of studies done showing milk from hormone-treated cows is safe for human consumption.

Webmd is 85% owned by Emdeon Corporation.
This mission statement is taken from the home-page of their website.

"Our mission is to provide revenue cycle and clinical communication solutions that simplify the business and improve the delivery of healthcare. Our solutions are designed to provide providers, payers, and patients not only with connectivity, but also the information and data necessary to:"

Improve patient collections
Insure rapid, accurate payment processing
Increase effectiveness of the clinical encounter

Does this sound like a caring organization? Or does it sound like a company interested in their bottom line?

The drugs listed below are listed on Webmd as treatment for certain symptoms. None of them cure any disease but they do have terrible side effects, including, but far from limited to cancer. Are you taking any of these?

Atenolol
Ativan
Cymbalta
Effexor
Hydrocodone
Lexapro
Lipitor
Lisinopril
Lyrica
Mobic
Naproxen
Neurontin
Norvasc
Oxycodone
Paxil
Prednisone
Percocet
Prozac
Seroquel
TOPAMAX
Tramadol
Vicodin
Wellbutrin
Xanax
Zoloft

Every month the FDA is forced through tort litigation to list drugs that are causing multiple deaths. And every month more drugs are approved by this same FDA. They are shooting us with the gun and telling us where the bullets are coming from.
Things aren't right anymore in this country and it's only getting worse. The wrong people are in dangerous positions, all the way to the presidency, do not think things will improve. People need to educate themselves as to what is really going on around them. It isn't too late to make things better, but it's got to be up to the majority-and that's up to you and I.
Don't trust your government to do the right thing, they're too content to allow you to die. That's the truth.

Dryer Sheets

Most people still use dryer sheets in their dryer. These sheets really serve no function other than to spread perfume all over your clothing. They're perfume sheets. And these perfumes are not essential oils harvested from flowers out in a wild field somewhere, they are synthetic chemicals, manufactured in a chemical plant, and many are highly carcinogenic.

So after washing their clothes to get out all the dirt, people are then coating their clothes with a product that deposits a thin film of toxic chemicals onto their clothes. In other words, the clothes were cleaner before they went through the washer and dryer.

And now that they come out of the dryer, they are dangerous to your health, because now they have been soaked in a toxic chemical cocktail. And people put these clothes on every single day, then walk around and produce sweat which moistens the clothes, and that accelerates the diffusion of such chemicals into their bloodstream through their skin. They do this and then they wonder why they are diseased. They think their laundry is clean because it smells like perfume.

The average American household is a toxic chemical dump. People have antimicrobial soaps, dryer sheets with toxic chemicals, and then there are people using all sorts of personal perfumes and fragrance products that are also loaded with cancer-causing chemicals. You've got people putting deodorant in their armpits, and that deodorant contains aluminum which promotes dementia and Alzheimer's disease. And if that's not enough toxicity, you can buy air fresheners that will release a mist of toxic chemicals into the very air that you breathe so that you can inhale carcinogenic chemicals directly into your lungs.

Beyond all that, we have the shampoos which are also loaded with all sorts of toxic chemicals, and we have the cleaning products that contain solvents which directly promote cancer as well as birth defects. And this isn't even to mention the food supply yet, because the food supply in the average American household contains yet more toxic chemicals. But of course, that's for another article altogether.

Please be careful and read the labels.

Discontent

Are You Content?

Today I read an article in USAToday informing the public of the wealthy delinquent taxpayers, even celebrities who have shunned the taxman. Believe me, it's not only the wealthy who try to beat the system. I personally know people who elude the federal government and the IRS. Didn't Ron Paul speak of doing away with the IRS altogether? How many other federal agencies could be done away with and never missed? If people were allowed to keep 20 % more of their paychecks they might be able to save more for retirement. We know social security won't be there for us.

When you look at the waste that is present within this bloated government, it kind of makes you feel like you're treading quicksand. The politicians who live off us, their sole existence is because of us and the ocean of tax-dollars.

While they all campaign for office (president) who is doing their jobs as senators of their respective states? We're essentially paying them to campaign I guess.

While gas prices continue to climb and the price of groceries rise, they campaign and spew their endless rhetoric of a better tomorrow.

Is it just me, or does anyone else feel a general discontent with this country? I heard someone yell at a protester the other day: "If you're so unhappy why don't you get out of the country?" Isn't that kind of like running away from your house when it's starting to catch fire? Who does that? Why should he have to leave his country and not try to fix it? I think this country is an awesome place with amazing people. People that deserve a lot more than lip service from a group of insulated politicians that has only their own agendas to tend.

Do you really think any of them; (democrat/republican) really cares about what it costs to fill a tank with gasoline?

People tell me almost everyday that things will get better as soon as we get a new administration in the Whitehouse. This is what the system thrives on, republicans pointing fingers at democrats and vice versa. They perpetuate a divisive atmosphere that allows them to elude the biggest picture of all. They aren't needed.

Does anyone really see gas prices falling when the election is over? Do you envision health care suddenly very affordable? Or that Wal-Mart might decide all on its own to pay people more and be honest with them?

Can you imagine turning on the television some day and hearing that the federal government is going to dismantle it self by at least half, and sell off half its assets to trim the budget. That state by state, an appeal would be made to do the same, and give something back to the public.

Can you imagine listening to politicians and hearing nothing but the truth coming from their lips? And you'd know that it wasn't written and polished days ahead by a slick-high-paid speech writer.

Think about it for a minute. If you were guaranteed a fantastic pension, comprehensive health-care, hundreds of perks and gifts bestowed you by some of the largest companies in the world.

If you were surrounded by good friends who slapped you on the back every time you rattled off some fiery dialogue in the hallowed halls of congress. If you knew that you were part of an uncommon brotherhood that lived very comfortably under the protective cloak of the law. Law that you wrote yourself everyday, but it didn't really pertain to you, just the general public. You took home large checks worth hundreds of thousands of dollars simply for allowing a drug company to get their newest drug to market quicker.

I mean, it's not like you're breaking any laws.

You are simply doing what you are entitled to do. Think about that...would you ever want that to come to an end, just so every other person on the planet could have a little piece of the pie? Would you really want that to come to an end?

You would if you cared. I do, do you? Take back your country people. No one's going to give it to you.

Your friend,

Graham

Rebellion

Rebellion

"I hold it that a little rebellion, now and then, is a good thing, and as necessary in the political world as storms in the physical. It is a medicine necessary for the sound health of government."
Thomas Jefferson

1743-1826. Third president of the United States (1801-1809) and author of the Declaration of Independence.

"A populace never rebels from passion for attack, but from impatience of suffering."

Edmund Burke (1729-1797) British political writer.

"Every act of rebellion expresses a nostalgia for innocence and an appeal to the essence of being."

Albert Camus (1913-1960) French novelist, essayist and dramatist.

"A riot is the language of the unheard."

Martin Luther King Jr. (1929-1968) American black leader.

"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure."
Thomas Jefferson

"I have been ever of opinion that revolutions are not to be evaded."

Benjamin Disraeli (1804-1881)

"Plots, true or false, are necessary things, to raise up commonwealths, and ruin kings."

John Dryden (1631-1700) British poet, dramatist and critic.

"A great revolution is never the fault of the people, but of the government."

Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe (1749-1832) German poet, novelist and dramatist.

"The brutalities of progress are called revolutions. When they are over we realize this: that the human race has been roughly handled, but that it has advanced."

Victor Hugo (1802-1885) French poet, dramatist and novelist.

"And then, Sir, there is this consideration, that if the abuse be enormous, nature will rise up, and claiming her original rights, overturn a corrupt political system."

Samuel Johnson (1709-1784) British author.

"Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable."

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA

"In a healthy nation there is a kind of dramatic balance between the will of the people and the government, which prevents its degeneration into tyranny."

Albert Einstein (1879-1955) German-Swiss-U.S. scientist.

"Nothing is more surprising than the easiness with which the many are governed by the few."

David Hume (1711-1776) Scottish philosopher, economist and historian.

"Every revolution was first a thought in one man’s mind."

Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882) U.S. poet, essayist and lecturer.

If you've read this far and you are concerned and fed up with the state of this country and the continued "gutting" of the US Constitution. If you're tired of the same old rhetoric by the democrats and the republicans (politicians), then please absorb some of the quotes made by famous men. Copy and and paste them into a simple email and pass them along to anyone you care about. This government is, and has been, heading in a bad direction, and don't think for a minute that a new administration will change anything at all.
Remember, we are the majority, and by nature, the majority rules. By doing nothing we are a willing pack of beaten sheep.

What is Organic

What Is Organic?
Certified Organic products are grown and processed without the use of synthetic chemicals, fertilisers, or GMO's*(see definition below). It is an innovative method of farming and production and is increasingly being recognised as being on the leading edge of food and fibre technology into the future. Organics is not just chemical free by testing. It is about the way the product ingredients have been grown, prepared, processed and packaged. The whole system is linked in a completely natural way in which nature intended.

Do you ever wonder where all that lotion goes when you apply it to your skin? Your skin is the body's largest organ, it's a very sensitive, yet resilient type of living sponge. It soaks up what is applied to it, good, or bad. For the most part, you can rest assured, what you're probably applying to your skin is full of dangerous parabens and surfactants. Read the labels, and if you can't pronounce it, it's dangerous. Look at your shampoo labels: Do you see-Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate-Amonium Chloride-Cocamide MEA-PEG5-Tetrosodium EDTA-Propylene Glycol??? The list goes much further. These are all known cancer causing carcinogens. We put them in our hair, on our skin, and we do it on a daily basis. Who knows someone with cancer? Maybe you have had a brush with it, or a related illness. What type of household cleaners do you use? Do you breath them in, some even smell good, like all of the air-fresheners. Read the labels. Do they mention that breathing the ingredients can be harmful or fatal? There are over 10,000 chemical ingredients that are not required by law to be listed.

Sickness and cancers are the end result of the body's failure to cope with the endless applications and breathing of pollutants. Look at your toothpaste-your shaving cream-do you drink tap-water? You spend a lot of money every month on these poisonous products because they're advertised as "Fresh" "Clear" "All Natural" and S.C. Johnson and Co. calls themselves a family company. There's Dow chemical Group, Proctor and Gamble etc. They are publicly held companies aimed at making a profit to appease stockholders and company officers. Your long-term health is not one of their major concerns.
You have alternatives out there, you're already spending the money, you might as well direct it in a positive direction. Your health and wellness.

The Organic Movement
The organic movement began at the same time as industrialised agriculture. It evolved through the '50s and '60s with the launch of such books as " Silent Spring" by Rachel Carson, which exposed the toxic effects of pesticides through what is now termed bio-magnification; a process whereby synthetic chemicals used in agriculture magnify (increase in concentration) through the food-chain. During the '70s, the development of the organic market was stimulated by growing consumer interest in health and nutrition, as well as the increasing importance of preserving the natural environment. More recently, the movement has been given significant impetus by events such as outbreaks of Bovine Spongiform Encephalapathy (BSE or Mad Cow Disease) and the controversy surrounding Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs), which have motivated people to search for healthy alternatives.
Booming, Ethical Industry

The organic industry has achieved compounded growth of 23% pa for seven consecutive years, while the natural and organic cosmetic sector grew by a massive 39% in 2001 alone. Organic Natural Enterprise Group leads the world in skin care by successfully developing a totally natural and legitimate organic range; the world's first certified organic skin and body care products. Recent market research has shown that consumer demand for organics is growing rapidly worldwide. The company, through its cutting-edge research and development, intends to progressively release dynamic, healthy, first-to-market innovations in the organic sector. Globally, sales in the personal care market, including natural personal care, reached USD$122 billion in 2000 and are growing 1.6%. In the USA, the entire Health and Beauty Care market is almost USD$40 billion and is expecting 3.4% annual growth. In contrast, the trend towards natural ingredients is running through every segment of personal care- with sales in the USA in this area reaching USD$1.56 billion in 2001 and growing at 10%. This segment is expected to grow 6%-7% annually over the next few years.
USA
Consumer sales of organic products in the US reached US$5.6 billion in 2000, a rise of 19% from 1999. If organics sustains this annual growth (and there is no indication it will not as sales in 2001 reached US$9.4 billion) the organic segment will be worth between US$13 - US$18 billion by 2005.
Europe
Research across seven European countries found that organic spending would nearly double over the next 5 years. By 2006, 58% of European consumers will choose to use organic products. During 2000, 29 million people in the UK said they had consumed organic food, a figure that represents almost half the population. There are 142 million consumers of organic food in Europe, showing that organic food has hit mainstream after many years in 'alternative' niche markets. The UK, which had organic sales of GBP 605 million in 2000 and is expected to reach GBP 1 billion by 2003 will continue to be the key market.
Japan
The Japanese are the largest per capita consumers of organics in the world and are substantial importers of organic consumer products. Japan had a national market value of US$1.5 billion in 1998 and has a current estimated value of US$3.2 billion. The majority of organic products in Japan are distributed through a 'tei-kei' arrangement, which is a type of cooperative.
"ONE Group plans to capture a significant share of this booming organic market over the next 3-5 years."

Don't look to your federal government to point you in the right direction, they're the ones who've allowed you to be poisoned all along. Knowledge is power.

To your health America!

DAW

Dispense As Written (DAW)

This is taken from a great book called: "The Next Trillion". It was written in 2000 and the author, Paul Zane Pilzer correctly predicted that the drug and pharmaceutical companies would begin marketing their drugs via television.
When you pay the staggering prices for prescription drugs, you are also paying for their marketing campaigns. The doctor will check the box on the prescription form that reads "DAW"- Dispense As Written. That means the prescription will be filled by the more expensive name brand rather than the cheaper generic, which is available for about ninety percent of all prescriptions.

The drug companies found a way to beat back the generic "opportunity". They hired the same ad firms as the food companies and began direct image-based advertising to consumers. The patient is directly sold on the product and told to "ask their doctor" for a DAW prescription--with the knowledge that if the doctor refuses to write the prescription, the pre-sold patient will simply find another doctor who will.

While there is obviously no direct conspiracy between the $1 trillion food industry (which cause most of the problems) and the $1.4 trillion medical industry (that treats just enough of the symptoms to get the "targets" back to work and consumption), the economic effect is the same as if these two industries were conspiring against the American consumer in the most sinister fashion.
Drugs cleverly treat the symptom, they do not cure. The cause is not treated just the symptom. People don't seem to understand, the drugs are slowly killing them.

On a microeconomic level, each time consumers get real information that could help them take control of their health, the food and medical industries, acting in their own economic self-interest, manipulate this information against them.

He with the gold makes the rules.

Take a look at the waistlines and diets of most politicians if you want to know what they think of food and health!
The politicians have been effectively controlled by the food and drug companies for so long that our government is now a large part of the problem rather than poised to be part of a solution.

This is the business of sickness, not wellness. Synthetic man-made drugs are poison to your bodies. You don't become a customer until you're stricken by and react to a specific condition or ailment. No one really wants to be a customer. It's too bad we trust doctors and the medical/drug companies to heal us when the opposite is occurring.

Please open your eyes and if you are taking prescribed drugs try and find a way off them. They have a domino effect on your health. One drug treats one symptom while causing numerous other negative side effects. All of which need to be treated by more drugs, causing further damage. Have you ever heard a positive side effect mentioned during commercial disclaimers?

To your health America.

Achievement Files

Does anyone really believe that the cure for cancer is here already? The cure for AIDS, and many other diseases, including premature aging and obesity, diabetes, it's all here but repressed.
By whom, you might ask?
By regulatory bureaucracies including but not limited to: The F.D.A. (Food and Drug Administration)
They have what is called: Achievement Files, that block most major breakthroughs in medicine.
By putting tough regulations on business and technology progress. It builds a name and creates a "reason" for those politically ambitious bureaucrats to be where they are. It gives these regulatory commissions a reason to suck up more taxpayer money, keeping the general population under their collective thumbs.

Do you really think these Federal Agencies have your best interests at heart? You have to ask yourself this question and really let it sink in.

Most of our establishment leaders do the same thing. They don't put values into society. They use non-sequitors like: "For the good of the people" "For God and Country" "We will realize our dreams together." They care about looking important and needed. They destroy values, and we employ them, people forget that these boneheads work for us!
They build achievement files that boost their political futures. Why can't people see through these deceptions of 'protecting the public' and understand their uselessness?

Macdonalds spent $500 million last year on their "We Love To See You Smile" campaign. They love to see you get fatter, and super-size your order. Bring the whole family in for a good ole suicide dinner, and they will watch you smile because they love it. By all rights, shouldn't our protective FDA be warning us of deadly fast-food and all the poison chemicals in your shampoos and household cleaners?Shouldn't they? Isn't that what we pay them for?
What about the politicians and their platforms du-jour?

Who's watching Monsanto as they slowly control the worlds food supply? Why don't our informed politicians stand on that platform? Is it because some former Monsanto executives are in high level positions within the FDA? And some former FDA employees now sit on the board at Monsanto reaping huge paychecks for a job well done? What about all genetic engineering of corn and soy?
Why was de-regulation passed in the late 1980s to allow Monsanto to push their chemicals onto the nation's dairy farmers to increase milk supply? Posilac was the BGH (bovine growth hormone) that is in the milk your family drinks today. Monsanto even sued the Oakhurst Dairy in Maine just because they advertised that Posilac was not used on their farm. Can you believe it?!

Who is watching the watchers?

The perfect society as described by Socrates, the main character of the work, relies on laborers, slaves and tradesmen. The guardian class is to protect the city. The question is put to Socrates, "Who will guard the guardians?" or, "Who will protect us against the protectors?". Plato's answer to this is that "They will guard themselves against themselves. We must tell the guardians a noble lie. The noble lie will inform them that they are better than those they serve and it is therefore their responsibility to guard and protect those lesser than themselves. We will instill in them a distaste for power or privilege, they will rule because they believe it right, not because they desire it."

Without bureaucrats and their self-serving agendas then business and science could race toward definitive cures for heart disease, cancer, for all disease large and small. We would stop using all these synthetic drugs that the drug companies push on us day and night. Drugs that treat symptoms not causes. Drugs that cause other problems and the need for more drugs.
Wake up people, before it's too late.

Millions of lives are lost every year so that a small clique of file-building, promotion seeking employees of ours within the federal government can keep their illusions of looking important and being needed!
The FDA is just one agency that should be scorned from existence. Free science, business, and medicine in the name of life.

No one paid me a dime. To your health America.

SURFACTANTS

Do you know what this word means? You've probably seen it listed on some of your skin-care products, most all shampoos, anything that foams.
SURFaceACtiveagENTS are substances capable of dissolving oils and holding dirt in suspension so it can be rinsed away with water. They are used in skin cleansers and shampoos.

A serious problem with ethoxylated surfactants (those that utilize ethylene or propylene oxide in the chemical reaction) is that they can be contaminated with dioxane, a potent carcinogen.

These surfactants are listed on labels as ingredients ending with-eth, (like laureth) or containing the phrase: PEG (PolyEthyleneGlycol) or PPG (PolyPropyleneGlycol).
I mean come on people! This stuff is used in car-washes and on factory floors! You're going to put it on your face, and wash your hair with it?

Another dangerous class of surfactants are amides. These are listed are listed on labels containing TEA- TriEthynolAmine, DEA- DiEthanolAmine and, MEA MonoEthanolAmine. All compounds containing TEA, DEA, and MEA can undergo nitrosation with other chemicals to form nitrosamines, which are carcinogenic (cancerous), how often do you wash your hair and clean your face? Do you think Proctor and Gamble will tell you about this? Or, do you feel that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will watch over you? Not when billions of dollars are at stake.

One study has found that over 40% of products containing Triethanolamine (TEA) were contaminated with these potent carcinogens.
Go get some of your products that you and your family use and read the labels!

Do you think that the 18.4 % Aluminum Chlorohydrate in one can of Anti-perspirant might contribute to breast cancer, or cancer of the lymph system? Your lymph glands are under your arms. Did you know that on the label of this anti-perspirant  it states: Breathing of propellant can be harmful, or fatal! Ask your doctor if you have kidney disease before using this product! How can you NOT breath this product, using it every day? This is on the back of a can of: Arrid XX Ultra Clear, Ultra Fresh. Check it out, don't take my word for it, and the kicker is that we pay almost $5-6 dollars a can for the poison.

Take care of yourselves because your federal government won't.

The Big List

What's good, what's bad
Ok my friends, I’m going to make it simple. I’ll give you two lists, one list we’ll call: "The Clean 15" and the other we’ll call: "The Dirty Dozen"
The dirty dozen are foods you should only consume if they’re organic, no if ands or buts. They are foods that are full of synthetic toxins, pesticides etc... that is the truth and there’s no getting around it.

Here we go.

The Dirty Dozen: Most all of these are loaded with Methyl bromide (think cancer)

*Strawberries
*All bell peppers
*Spinach
*Cherries
*Peaches
*Nectarines
*Celery
*Apples
*Pears
*Grapes
*Raspberries
*Potatoes

The clean 15: These you can feel good about buying, because for whatever reasons they are not susceptible to insect infestations so they aren’t treated with toxic chemicals. Here they are:

*Asparagus
*Avocado
*Bananas
*Blueberries
*Broccoli
*Cabbage
*Garlic
*Kiwi
*Mango
*Onions
*Papaya
*Pineapple
*Shelling Peas
*Sweet corn
*Domestic Watermelons

The FDA will never show you this list because of the huge companies like Monsanto that have been quietly buying up all the seed companies so they can patent the genetic engineering of these seeds. They have a monstrous lobby in Washington, but that’s another story for another day.
Check out, www.eatwellguide.org

Stay off any sites ending in .gov because they simply don’t tell the truth.

Happy health kids, and remember, I didn’t make a dime from sharing today.
G.
